At Mobi’s Ark Early Learning Center, we believe that uniforms bring a sense of “professionalism and orderliness” to the preschool learning process. As such, we require the children in our care to wear uniforms with the exception of Fridays and special occasions for a number of reasons:
- Uniforms can cost less than regular clothes, simplify the task of dressing kids, and reduce the threat of being teased about sartorial matters.
- Uniforms eliminate distractions. Putting everyone in the same kind of outfit helps “children come in comfortable and prepared to focus requiring the toddlers in their charge to wear uniforms. If you put a blue shirt on a child, he or she knows ‘I’m getting ready for school.’
- Uniforms also reinforce the idea of feeling part of a group.
- Uniforms denote a sense of modesty and pride in membership and reflect a positive image of our Center.
- With uniforms, students at Mobi’s Ark will distinguish themselves socially, intellectually and morally in all achievement, rather than by the way the dress.
Uniforms may be purchased at Mobi’s Ark Early Learning Center or in most local retail stores and websites such as:
